K-pop boy band to perform at HCM City international music festival
K-pop group TEMPEST will perform at the HOZO Super Fest 2023, which is scheduled to take place along Nguyen Hue and Le Loi Pedestrian Streets on December 22-24.
According to the organizing board, the band will impress the audience with its energetic performances and their hits.
TEMPEST, managed by Yuehua Entertainment, debuted in March 2022 and rose to ro prominence as one of the most notable K-pop rookies last year.
The group consist of seven members – Hanbin, Ahn Hyeong Seop, Koo Bon-hyuk, Lee Eui-woong, Hwa Rang, Eun Chan and Kim Tae-rae.
TEMPEST has won several music awards such as the Genie Music Awards, Asia Artist Award, Seoul Music Awards and most recently the Hanteo Music Awards.
Among the members is Hanbin, a Vietnamese artist whose real name is Ngo Ngoc Hung. Hanbin was well-known in the K-pop dance community in Vietnam and a leader of the group C.A.C., which won the 2018 Vietnam Kpop random dance in public contest.
In 2020 Hanbin drew public attention when he joined I-Land, a reality show produced by Big Hit Entertainment, the company that manages the famous boy band BTS. He then joined Yuehua Entertainment as a trainee before having his debut with TEMPEST.
HOZO Super Fest 2023 is designed to preserve and spread the values of Vietnamese music genres and national culture to the world, and bring music closer to the locals.
It will also offer an opportunity for Vietnamese audiences to catch up with the latest music trends in the world.
